Does this corner make my butt look red?

How is this exciting?

ZZZ....are you asleep yet? (Okay, so the last part might have woken you up.)

How any top can get anything out of this is beyond me. There we are, standing in the corner, fighting the fidgets, while you pour yourselves drinks and try to act interested.

Might I suggest some post-lecture dancing instead? No? What if we were in tap shoes? I think making us jiggle our freshly colored bottoms is much more of a deterrent than having us stare at a blank corner. Especially if your girl is like me and doesn't know the first thing about tap dancing. How humiliating!

I know what you'll say. "You're missing the point," you'll say. But I get the point. I just don't see how you can enjoy us standing in the corner. I'm really saying this out of concern for you.

I know, I know, we're supposed to be pondering the act of submission, feeling contrite and well-spanked, loved and disciplined and ready for forgiveness. It's not supposed to be fun -- your words occupying our head space as we wonder, is this all or will there be more spanking once I manage my escape?

If dancing isn't suitable (and it doesn't seem like it is), then how about some other form of artistic expression?

Or better yet, to drive the lesson home, why not try saying, "You go take a hot bath and think about what you've learned, young lady."

That'll show us.

No?

Okay, okay...I'm going.

  2. I like you in the corner.

I like walking in and out of the room, observing how you strain your ears to locate what your eyes cannot see.

I enjoy the affect that the sound of a belt being dragged through pants or the swish of the cane through the air produces in you.

I like you in the corner.

  3. I'm sharing this with Michael and saying .... "yeah! What barely pink said!"

Love your take on corner time. :D

  4. Thanks for coming by, Old Fashion Girl. Always good to see you. :)

D, well, when you say it like that...

Season, it must be kind of boring for them, right? (Regardless of what D said above.) I'm sure Michael is much more reasonable when it comes to these types of things. ;)

  5. LOL - have you read Michael's post on corner time? Not sure reasonable is accurate. :D

  6. Oh my, Season. Is this what you're talking about?

If so, I can see you have your work cut out for you. ;)

  8. I think it's all about diverting...and darting.

    How fast is he?

  9. Hmmm. I think my odds are better with diversion. :-)

  10. Perhaps you could trying breaking into song. That would be...unexpected.

  11. The way I sing it would just earn me extra spanks.

  12. I love this sarcastic, naughty, "bratty" little post.

There is a delightful little fire with in you, just begging for a spankin!!

    I can relate ;)

    Love, licks and lashings.

  13. LOL Pink. I had to watch it twice thinking I'd missed something.

    Have a lovely weekend.

  14. Season, my apologies. I totally fell asleep on the job last night -- which inspired me. How about loudly snoring while in the corner?

Lil, you know, people accuse me of acting like a brat and I just don't see it. ;)

Ronnie, right? B-O-R-I-N-G. There's nothing to miss. Now, if she were dancing...

    Have a great weekend, everyone!

  16. Thanks, Poppy, although I'm afraid it's fallen on deaf ears. Why won't our tops listen to reason?

    Have a great weekend!

    Hugs,

  17. Why, Miss Pink, your cheeky and misguided take on corner time completely misses the point. In my essay on corner time which you have kindly linked to - thank you - I feel I strike (!) the right balance between punishment and squirminess for any naughty girl who finds herself in my care. And while you tap dancing and Season singing would be enjoyable entertainment, especially the jiggling your bottoms part, it would not distract me from having you naughty girls complete your corner time. Though I would need to put you in separate corners to avoid tempting you both with more naughty behavior, but that would only lead to further spankings and more corner time. A lovely, ouchy cycle of events. :)

  18. I knew you would say that I had missed the point. Did I not predict it? :P

Standing in a corner, while traditional, is just so arbitrary. Why not stand us in front of a lovely painting instead to maximize your view?

When it comes down to it, I think you tops are more easily distracted than you care to admit -- a hypothesis I shall be testing shortly.

    Hugs,

    Pink

  19. No worries, Pink! I fell asleep soon after that myself. I like your idea about doing something unexpected. At the very least it will give me something to ponder while stuck looking into the corner. (yes, I am counting on Michael not coming back to read this).

  20. What a wonderful little video. She looks so at peace. And what better way for a girl to show obedience and contrition than to serve her time standing in the corner? Symbols and rituals are important. It's such an unambiguous disciplinary position, as there can be no other reason to be there other than as time out spent to reflect on her misbehavior. It's the iconic image of having gotten in trouble. Of course it's boring. Not something I'd want to sit and watch for very long, yet still a beautiful sight. She looks like such a good girl standing there as she's been told, as if she really is learning the lesson.

  21. At first I thought this was a video of a still picture. Then I noticed the fire was moving. This girl is doing a wonderful job of standing still in the corner. Perhaps we can agree that the only way it's truly "fun" is as a control game.

  22. Oh, my...I forgot to make comment after so many others did. My apologies, my weekend got away from me!

Michael, I am very, very good at testing however I mostly end up proving someone else's point.

Season, I think you are safe now. Shall we continue with our plotting?

Brett B, she is just pretending like the lesson was learned so as to avoid the spanking bench in the foreground. ;)

Karl, she is doing a much better job at staying still than I ever do. And I agree, the control element is what makes it enticing. (Here's a secret...I like standing in the corner.)
